Because the first post is so obligatory and akward...

Is it just me, or is the first blog entry always this akward? It could be because I feel like I'm typing away into this void of nothingness, all the while imagining a little slew of onlookers watching and analyzing my every thought, or word.
Blogging is something I've been thinking about for a while now, but I think I felt deep down that I didn't really have anything of great significance to share and really who would read it anyway. However, I have grown to realize that doing it for myself is as good a reason as any, even if it is only my mom that reads it. I have been feeling inspired as of late in many ways and thought this would be a good little place to get some of those ideas down on paper, er on screen. I love getting glimpses into the lives of others, and often leave feeling encouraged in my own life. I have always had a love of sharing with others, of meeting new people and of becoming a better me. My intention for this blog is to be a space to share my love of beautifying ones house, style and above else for it be a reflective place for me to talk a little about life. Although, I am far from being a grammer nut, I am aware of proper writing styles and how to form paragraps and I do know of a little thing called grammer, but don't expect to see good grammer being played out here, because in creative pursuits like this I don't like feeling tied to rules, I like to have the freedom to start my sentences with "so" and "because"...and I have an uncontrollable urge to use ellipsis.




Confession: I had to double check how to spell akward (I like to think there's a Q in it somewhere) and I pride myself on my spelling.
